Experience

I believe deeply in high-quality education, both for its power in allowing students to choose their path in life and simply for its own interest. However, I know it isn't always easy and exam periods can be stressful, which is where I come in. Through my extensive experience and logical, encouraging teaching style, I aim to help you excel in your subjects, in your exams, and in your university applications.

I have taught academic subjects to students from primary school to A level, helping them to better understand the topic whilst being engaging and accommodating different learning styles. I have prepared students for a variety of exams and tests including GCSEs, A-levels, and university admissions, as well as teaching extracurricular activities for over five years. All together, this has allowed me to develop a logical and encouraging teaching style for all of my students.

As a recent Cambridge Natural Sciences graduate myself, I have a particular interest in helping students in the university (and particularly Oxbridge) application process and have delivered hours of application and interview support for this. To see students' confidence grow both within and between sessions is a joy, and I look forward to helping more students to fulfil their academic potential.

About

Outside of tutoring I enjoy rowing (I started while at university and, while I can't say I'm that good at it, I definitely enjoy it!), horse riding, hiking and generally getting outside. I'm trying to get back into playing the guitar but that is a work in progress!
