About Us
We are a small group of friends who graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University who have joined forces to share the passion we have for our subjects with younger students that are exactly where we were years ago. Through our shared experience, we found that enjoyment of the subject was fundamental to getting through our studies successfully, and often times the root of that enjoyment was an inspiring and engaging tutor.
We absolutely understand how it feels to be a young student facing the daunting prospect of examinations and university applications, and we want to help guide those going through the process today with our insight and experience. We are keen to mentor students through a process that we have ourselves tried and tested, relying on our network of Oxbridge graduates to cater that guidance to the specific course, college and tutors each student is hoping to apply to.
Between us, we have degrees in Spanish Literature and Language, Italian Literature and Language, Russian Literature and Language, International Relations and Law. We also have career experience in these areas and would love to share the knowledge we have gathered so far with future students – we were in their position not long ago!
The Process
We try to make our tutorials as dynamic and engaging as possible by screen-sharing materials and notes, which we then annotate together. We strive to maximise each individual student’s potential and as such we cater our teaching techniques and styles to each student’s needs.
Our tutors are flexible and personable and first and foremost, want to share the passion they have for their subjects with their students in order to make their learning journey more enjoyable.
